Welcome to ibotbot.com.

I have been wanting to do a site relating to tech stuff for quite some time now and I finally managed to get this page and domain setup. The name comes from a nickname that I have had for many years. When I was a child I was nicknamed Wapatpat, which is Mi’kmaw for Whitehead as my hair was snow white. The name stuck and eventually changed into Uncle Bot and Uncle Botbot to my nephews and nieces. I had hoped to be able to get a domain such as bot.com or botbot.com but they are already taken. I then decided to add the i, ibot.com was gone, but ibotbot.com was available so I grabbed it.

I work in tech day in and day out. I enjoy my tech toys and tools and hopefully this will be a good place to share some of my experiences from a non-journalistic point of view. I’ve already had a few sites that I ran in the past but they were less focused and often hacked as they used multiple pieces of technology cobbled together. With this site I hope to stay within the WordPress world.

My initial posts are dated way before the actual date that this site is appearing and that is due to me bringing them over from a previous Blog. I feel the SystemCare/WorldTech recordings will fit here quite nicely.

With all that being said, thanks for coming, staying and reading this far. I hope to be able to offer some interesting posts for someone in this world!
